This is a multi-line volumetric infusion system designed to meet the growing demand for hospital-wide standardization. It houses three independent pumping units, each having a primary line, secondary line, and piggyback fluid delivery capability. It is suited for a wide range of medical/surgical and critical care applications, offering capability as both a micro device (0.1 – 99.9 mL/hr) and a macro device (1 – 999 mL/hr). Full compatibility with LifeCare® 5000 PlumSeries® administration sets and accessories, and the LifeShield needleless protection systems, makes this infusion a convenient and cost-effective infusion system.

  • Battery Operation: A fully-charged new battery will provide eight hours of operation at 125 ml/ hr, or 1000 ml total volume, delivered per pumping unit.
    • The device should be operated on battery power for six continuous hours at least once every six months for optimum performance and battery life.
  • Recharge Time: If the infusion system is turned to OFF/CHARGE, recharge takes approximately 6 hours. Recharge takes longer if the pumping units are turned on.
    • The battery charges whenever the infusion system is connected to AC (mains) power
